Important information for users of monthly workday ticket
"Rīgas satiksme" informs that its subsidiary "Rīgas karte", which provides electronic payment services in Riga public transport, has had an error in the process of updating the system’s software, as a result of which today, on May 5, those passengers who use monthly workday tickets cannot register their trips in public transport. "Rīgas karte" is now actively working to find a solution and to eliminate the error.
Those passengers havng valid monthly workday tickets can continue their trips without registration and have not to buy another ticket.
"Rīgas satiksme" reminds that other passengers who are not using workday monthly tickets have to register their trips as usually and this error does not affect them.
